About The Solstorm Saga
The Solstorm Saga is a six-book Nordic post-collapse series about survival, practical competence, community, and the moral consequences of rebuilding civilization.
Set primarily along the coast of Northern Norway, the saga follows sailors, medical workers, soldiers, families, and isolated communities after modern systems fail. The books combine maritime realism, northern landscapes, repair culture, found family, and restrained folk-mystic elements.
The central question is not simply how people survive. It is what they choose to preserve, what forms of authority they create, and whether they can defend a future without becoming the kind of rulers they once feared.
Book One, SOLSTORM: The Sky Went Wrong, begins when a catastrophic solar event silences modern systems and leaves scattered survivors crossing the North Atlantic and the Norwegian coast toward an island community that may offer shelter.
About the Creators
Tommy Forsberg
Tommy Forsberg is a Northern Norwegian author with experience at sea and in aviation. His fiction draws on maritime life, navigation, practical self-reliance, risk analysis, and the close-knit coastal communities in which he grew up.
He is the author of The Solstorm Saga, a grounded Nordic post-collapse series centered on survival, community, moral consequence, and the difficult work of rebuilding.
Erin E. Forsberg
Erin E. Forsberg is the visual artist and audiobook narrator for The Solstorm Saga. American by birth and long established in Norway, she combines native English delivery with fluent Norwegian pronunciation.
She creates the saga’s cover art, illustrations, visual identity, promotional artwork, video material, and audiobook performances.
The partnership
The Solstorm Saga is created and produced by husband-and-wife team Tommy Forsberg and Erin E. Forsberg through Forsberg Multimedia. Tommy writes the novels, while Erin brings the saga into visual and spoken form.
